Baton Rouge Residents Invited To Act Like Stars, Appear In Ads

 

 

WHO:             Casino Rouge, soon-to-be Hollywood Casino Baton Rouge

 

WHAT:           Casting calls for local residents (21 and over) to compete for 30 spots as extras in the upcoming Hollywood Casino Baton Rouge advertising campaign

 

WHEN/:        Friday, December 29, 2006

WHERE        

- 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Cortana Mall (Kiosk Court across from Zales)

Celebrity impersonators in attendance from Noon to 12:30 p.m.

 

- 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Mall of Louisiana (Main Atrium, across from Lee Michael’s)

Celebrity impersonators in attendance from 6 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

 

VISUAL:         Lines of people acting for local celebrity judges as if they are on a casino floor.

 

                        Celebrity impersonators Marilyn Monroe, Dean Martin, and Joan Rivers will line up to “try out” too.

 

WHY:             Since Louisiana is a top location for movie shoots, it’s time to bring Hollywood to Baton Rouge, and let local residents act like stars.

 

HOW:             Casting call participants must be 21 or older with valid identification, and be willing to sign a talent release form allowing their image to be used in casino promotional efforts.
